ECOS 2026 Awards

To reward the efforts of the scientists for preparing valuable papers submitted to ECOS 2026 Conference, the Organizing Committee proposed, and the Executive Council of the ECOS International Society approved to bestow a number of 5 awards.

The initial number of submitted abstracts for the Conference was 428. In the later months, after a huge effort made by the reviewers and authors, there were finally accepted 284 papers that have been presented, discussed, commented and debated in the plenary and parallel sessions as well as in the poster sessions.

The process of selecting the candidates for the awards started from the reviewing phase of the papers and continued during the oral presentations, Q&As, comments and debates during the sessions of the conference. The session chairpersons formulated proposals that have been used for compiling short lists for each award and finally there were decided the winners. It is important to mention that the number of short listed papers were between 12 to 25 per each category and it was difficult to select a winner between very valuable other papers.
