Reviewing & Publication

The submitted papers are following a peer reviewing process. Each paper shall be reviewed by 3 independent reviewers. Based on the results of the reviewing process, the conference chairmanship will select the accepted papers for oral or poster presentations.

All papers will be published in the ECOS 2026 Conference Book of Papers by the Ovidius University Press Publishing House with ISBN number. Each selected paper for the conference will have the possibility to be indexed with DOI from Zenodo Platform that is indexed by DataCite for DOI registration. The decision for a paper to be indexed shall belong to the authors based on a form that will be filled and signed by the authors when they will be announced about the decision regarding the selection of their paper.

A Selection Committee appointed by ECOS Executive Council shall review the recommendations of the session chairs regarding the presented papers in oral and poster sessions of the ECOS 2026 Conference and propose the most appropriate papers for publication in mainstream journals. The list of the journals that accepted the publication of papers from ECOS 2026 will be available before the start of the conference works.
